How to minimising your stress by lighting
Minimising stress is something most people have problems with. They tend to just hold it in until the burn out and feel too tired or down to
do anything about it. The easiest way to minimise stress is to start in your own bedroom.
The bedroom should be a space where you can escape and feel relaxed. Instead, most people have very cluttered bedrooms that need to be arranged.
Here are a few things that you need to do to de-stress your bedroom.
Clean it up
A messy space can cause a messy mind. You need to clean up your room and organise everything. Keep your clothes in the drawers and your shoes in the shoe rack. Fold your sheets properly after you get up so when you get home, it won’t look like a mess. It's a habit that you need to get used to but after a while, it becomes a routine and you won't think about it anymore.
Change the light
Some people use a very harsh light in their bedroom, which can cause sleeping problems. Replace your traditional lighting with warm toned LED lights to cut out the harshness. The yellowish warm tone of the bulb can help you relax, calm down and even sleep better. You can even get dimmers installed so you can control the amount of light in the room. Dimmers and energy saving bulbs make a perfect combination if you want to save on the electricity bill as well.
Dark, gloomy colors are a big no for bedrooms. Try going for light, pastel colors that are relaxing to the eyes. If you can, paint your room a different color or you can just use light colored sheets or curtains to tone down the room’s color
